Need Help ( AEM V2 or Comptech Intake)

I have to disagree a bit about the aesthetics of the V2. i chose the V2 because I like the way it opens up the engine compartment and like the way it looks. I don't think either the V2 or the Comptech do much for horsepower, but they sound good, especially with a slightly louder exhaust (I have the Fujitsubo). I plugged the drain holes and installed the Ingen filter cover and drive it year round in the rainy and snowy East w/o problem.

I'm gonna side with the Comptech on this one (I better, I own one!). I, too, looked at all the options before buying an intake, and chose the Comptech for a couple of reasons:
1. It is a cold air intake. It draws air in from the hole in the fender.
2. Unless you drive your car into a lake, there is NO WAY you're gonna get water in the intake. I daily drive my car through all kinds of weather, and it has never even crossed my mind.
3. It looks pimp in the engine bay.
4. Comptech provides the dyno charts on their website to prove to you it gains power. I believe they claim 8 whp.
That pretty much sealed the deal for me. I had an AEM on my Prelude, and it was great, but I like the Comptech on my S2000 more. Hope this helps aid your decision.
