I am in the process of installing my euro headlights. When I reinstalled the bumper I noticed that there was a gap between the headlight and the bumper. Wish I had looked before so I am not sure if it was originally there. I did a search and some folks say yes some say no. Can someone who has not removed their bumper please take a close-up pic of the headlight and bumper area for me. Much appreciated and you will be my hero. If possible measure the gap. Or does anybody know how to adjust?

Sorry no I need a close-up picture of where the headlight would meet the bumper so that I can tell if there is a gap, thanks though. Anybody else?

Turbo: When you replace the headlight, you remove four bolts and then remove the corner upper beam (per the service manual). I'm guessing that after you've mounted the replacement, there's probably an in-built tolerance in the four bolt holes and beam which allows you to adjust the position and aiming of the fixture (with the nuts slackened off). You might want to try it; that would make a difference in the gap between the bumper and headlight. The manual does say that you need to adjust the headlights again, after replacement - but the procedure only adjusts the vertical aim; there must be a way of adjusting the horizontal airm, so my guess is that it's done with these bolts.

You didn't say where the gap is - at the bottom, front of the light, or on the side. I assume you mean the side.

Gap is on the bottom. Can somebody who has not removed their bumper just take a quick look and let me know if there is a gap or not.

Just checked.....equal 1/8" gap on driver's side; no gap on passenger side.......but I've taken my bumper off once before.

Thanks now you probably will understand why I think it is weird I never noticed it before and am curious if it's like that from the factory or I screwed up. Please can somebody who has not removed their bumper yet check for me.

By the way that is almost exactly what I have in distance.
