If they insist on paying for it, let them. The money that you are earning now, you will need for such things later on such as, uhh... rent

Dun't be stupid, they want to help you out. All the money that you earn from working, put that shit in the bank.

You have the potential to go a long way Jack. You can do whatever you want. You have opportunity, save your fvcking money and pursue a career.

 

I totally understand what you guys are saying. My situation is that the money part is completely figured out. I make enough to pay the monthly payments and extra to save up. Even if my parents paid it off, I would pay them back anyway, so it's the same thing, plus a few in interest, which helps build the credit.

I promise if someone would be kind enough to scan their letter for me, everything will be fine. I'm not digging myself into a hole by doing this, honestly. My parents don't take care of my daily living anymore, just college fees. They know I'm working, and I just want them to know that they need to stop worrying about me with this letter. As I said before, the monthly payment is not an issue for me as long as I have a job.

 

I'll have a letter at the end of April 2009.
