That wondering where I got the $ part is set up too. I had this all planned out. Technically, if I never bought anything, I'd have enough $. I do enjoy fine dining and quality clothes though, so that dinged me quite a bit. Since I've purchased the car, some funds have gone towards mods. I know I should have just paid it off, but I did want that whole credit building thing. My credit it pretty whatever right now. It's like 680 or something.
I remember there was a thread where some1 posted up their letter, but I can't find it. I won't be posting it all over the place, just a quite scan and send to my parents n then throw away.

Hmmm...this would be great if we stopped discussing my situation and I get that letter. Thanks for every1's input, nonetheless. I'm really liking this loving family.
You can always PM me if you don't want to post it up.

Just let them pay it, that will probably make them as happy as you paying it yourself.

That's what I don't want them to do. I've had them pay enough already. I don't want to take anymore of my parent's money.
Sell the car, problem solved. Hit up google if you're looking to forge paper work.

Wouldn't your parents then ask you where you got the money for the payoff? This would lead to another set of lies. Not good.
Compromise with your parents and let them make the payoff with the understanding that you will then pay them your current monthly payment. If they refuse to allow you to pay them back, set up a seperate savings account and deposit your current payment until it reaches the amount of the payoff.
Use this money to buy your parents a super gift or perhaps a vacation pkg.
They will not be able to refuse a gift and it sounds like they truly deserve it.

So they're paying for the car and college. You could have helped pay for more of the car but instead bought mods, expensive clothes, and eat out a lot. This doesn't sound like someone who is concerned about taking money from their parents.
