Default Need alignment.....

Had a nail in my tire and had to put a patch in it. Anyway, I find that my front tires are wearing out unevenly. The inside edge of the tires has worn out more than the outside edge. Man, I can't believe I need to get a alignment done already. Is the dealer a good place to get it done although they cost more than others.....Thanks

It is normal for the inside to wear slightly faster than the outside with the factory alignment (with negative camber) that favors handling over perfectly even wear. It will be more pronounced if you do a great deal of straight line (ie: highway) driving. Get is checked but understand that to a certain extent handling and wear is a compromise decision.

Just drive more twisties or autocrosses and the tire wear will even out. The recommended stock setting has some camber to the fronts and rears - allowing better handling in the turns. If you want to, you can switch tires (NOT just the wheels), left to right and that will help to even out the wear.

If you want to even out the wear, yes, just unmount the left tire and put it on the right and unmount the right tire and put it on the left. However, keep in mind that You don't want to do this more than once, otherwise, the cost of mounting and balancing will offset any cost savings in tires.
