need advise aem sucked water into the motor....

aem makes a little device call the bypass valve its a sponge that goes on the middle of the intake and it prvents any water from flowing into the engine, its 50 bucks, i have one onmy aem and i live in fl and i have gone through some pretty big puddles never had a problem

That little device also eliminates 95% of the gains you get by putting on an AEM in the first place.

i don't know where you heard you loose 95% of anything i dynoed my car with just the aem intake and i had a 6hp gain

theni dynoed it with the bypass valve and i didn't loose a thing so i don't know where you get your information from

Not sure what just happened but it does seem like more evidence that the marketed risk of hydrolock is just AEM blowing smoke to take another $50.
