Those gears are expensive from them though. I have seen them from other places for $300. I'll try to find from where though. I think you can just get them online since they are an oem part I believe from Kia and Mazda. Someone please correct me to which one it is. If you search on here for the part number it will come up and then you can search that part number and find it cheaper.

I read somewhere about a year ago on s2ki where someone used a kia sportage gear but needed machining to work.

I woild get the motorklasse 4.77 gears....they are reinforced. i've heard of ppl using Mazda's 4.77's and them going out prematurely.

thats exactly what I was thinking, the fact that they are coming reinforced already and I believe they are much cheaper than Rick's (even though I love his products as well.)
