If you have to deal with any law enforcement in the State of California, then www.ticketassassin.com is for you. . .

No need to fight the cop per se. . . you do need to fight the system.

When a CHP cruiser is weaving from lane to lane on the freeway, it is called a "traffic break". The officer is not enforcing the speed limit, the purpose is to create a break in the freeway traffic so that some material can be safely removed from the traffic lanes. The officer is out there to protect you, for your own safety so you will not hit the material on the road. Let's not get carried away with bad-mouthing the CHP officers who put their lives on the line every day for your protection.

Exactly what I was thinking. I speed just like a large majority of people. And when I get caught, I exercise my rights to fight the ticket. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Ultimately though, the vast majority of law enforcement does a good job at enforcing laws that protect the populous. The point is everything has a price. If you like to drive at speeds and in a manner that will get you pulled over, you will pay the price. If you don

I'm a supporter of the police, but that kind of stuff is pathetic. It's called a rolling road block.

This was some years ago when the speed limit was 55mph. I was on 405 south from LAX with traffic flowing at 65-70 mph, a CHP car got on freeway and started slow down to 55 mph, all cars slowed down to math his speed. After few miles, a girl in a VW slowly speed up then passed him at about 1mph, as soon as her VW passed him, he turned on the lights and stoped that VW. After few hundreds feet, all cars sped up to normal speed, 65-70 mph.

Lesson: Do not pass slow moving CHP if it is at speed limit. Messing with CHP does not pay.
