Holy hell that is expensive. You would put a 6 year old in that thing?

The booster I'm using was like $20, but it's one with just the base and no back.

 

I dunno about you guys but I would never EVER put a child booster seat in a seat with an airbag. Really bad idea, you guys wanna haul around your new borns, Wrong car.

edit: disregard my comment sorry just read the rest of the OP's first post. I'm still bewildered tho.

 

6 years old is not a newborn. And a six year old in a booster seat with the seat pushed all the way back will come nowhere near the airbag when it deploys.

Yea, booster is expensive but it does provide great side impact protection. Think of it as racing seats for your kid offering more protection than even the driver gets in your stock seat. 5 point harness assures the occupant does not move around and EPS foam padding for the torso, head, and leg. EPS foam is similar material used on the inside of motorcycle helmets.

The seat folds up nicely and should fit in the trunk when not in use. Apparently, it fits on NSX also.

It looks better in not-tan. Cool that it works as forward and rear facing, I would consider it if we had a newborn (not as a rear facing in the S though).

 

BTW, the other one I was considering the Monterey booster ($119) by Sunshine kids will likely not fit. The bottom is 16" wide, about 3" too wide for the S2000 seat.
