Default Narrow Booster seat that fits

Does anyone have any success with a narrow forward facing Booster that fits? I tried my Graco Turbo booster and the base is slightly too wide for the seat. My kid is 6 yrs old and booster is the only way to go.

I've ran a search and read all the posts. The one that Honda UK offers is difficult to get. I'm looking for one that retails in the US.

Thanks in advance for sharing any info.

This is not a "Don't put your kid in the front seat" thread. Please help us stay on topic.

There was a post about Recaro child seats. Not sure if they have boosters, though.

Recaro do sell boosters but the one I saw was several years old and no longer available.

Child seat maker change design every 2-3 years so what worked several years ago are likely no longer available.

I've ran all the searches, and have not found a US available booster that fits and is still available.

I measured my base, and it is approx 16" at the bottom. A little too wide. I looked into a Sunshine kid Monterey and it is 15.3" at the bottom base but I'm unable to try it out. This seat came out a year ago and has received very favorable reviews and outstanding side impact protection.

Please share if you have any booster seat experience on the S2000.

I think Honda actually offered one too but was JDM only.

I would think the JDM one should fit. The challenge may be picking one up short of going to Japan.

The one offered at UK Honda looked like the old Britax Parkway. Britax changed their Parkway design recently. Britax also had an older design called Bodyguard, which looked rather thin and may fit. Unfortunately, they are discontinued.

I use a regular booster seat with a folded up towel under it.

I also have blocks zip tied to the pedals so I can reach them.

Pardon? Can you clarify? Are you joking or are you saying you can't reach foot pedals with the seats all the way forward?

And the booster seat you are putting a towel under.... is it for you or your child?

Alright guys, here's what I found out.

I went thru a great deal of search and the narrowest seat that is available today measures 13.5" width at the base. The S2000 passenger seat is 13" at the same mating point. The 1/2" interference could likely be taken up because there is some give in the seat or by putting a towel underneath the seat to raise it hence giving you more clearance due to the tapered side support of the stock seats.

The brand is the Sunshine kids Radian. There are a few versions of the radian but the fit to the S2000 should be the same. I have not actually fit this seat to the car but my measurements indicate this is likely your best bet with all that it out there right now. The Turbo booster is 16" wide, Britax booster is 16-17" and many more are much wider. I went thru a whole bunch of boosters both online and in store and this is the narrowest one around.

This seat is rated well and has passed crash testing standards. It comes with a 5-point harness. Since S2000 does not have latch, one will have to use the vehciles' seat belt to harness the seat. I've read some reports that using the car's seat belt (instead of latch) may result in a loose fit but this will vary from car to car.

It is forward facing seat, well padded with dense foam all around, and folds up nicely for travel, albeit it is a tad heavy. It fits kids up to 80lbs (facing forward) and up to 53" tall.

Again, I did not get a chance to test fit this seat to the S2000 so you may want to try it before ordering one. I found the seat in person on "Buy Buy Baby" store and took my measurements there.

Below is some info on the seat and the top of the line version retails for $300, or around $240 -$$260 at Amazon, depending on the version.
