As with all N/A motors there is only so much you can do, and you won't get horsepower anywhere near what the big turbo kits are putting out.

The N/A mods that I can think of are
- exhaust
- header
- air intake
- stroker kit (if applicable)
- individual throttle bodies
- upgrade/change ecu (eg emanage etc)
- machine the head (port/polish)
- change cams

With some good bolt on parts, you will get some decent gains out from it. If you apln to do up the engine here are some suggestions :

-2.2L-2.5L stroker
-raise the compression
-fuel management like EMS ro other after market ECUs
-camshafts
-ITBs

I knew some of the board members with ITBs and AEM EMS + tuning + bolt ons which are making 250-260whp.

Hope this will help

i think you may need to do a search/some homework. check out the evasive s2k. It will give you an idea what ITBs and basic bolt ons will do, not that much is gained per dollar hp/tq wise N/A.
JUST my .02

ITBs are Individual Throttle Bodies.

Go to the JDM TUNING forum, and read the thread "I WANT 230WHP!!!" 19 pages of information you may want to read.

You can raise the compression by either dropping the head, or getting new pistons. But their are limits to what compression you can reach on our 92 octane. Read that thread and youll get a good understanding of what is possible and what is involved.

Upwards of 300whp could be possible on the S2000 engine, but it's going to take a lot of money to get there. You'll need higher compression, probably a 10,500rpm redline, standalone ECU, bolt ons, etc, etc.

what year is your S2000? if it's a 2000-2003 all you'll need is a different valvetrain/headwork to obtain 10,500rpm. If you have a 2004+, you'll need bottom end work done as well.

How much money do you want to spend?

How patient are you?

If you're looking for large gains just go ahead and drop 10k for a Spoon engine, it'll probably save you alot of time and hassle imo
