You're confusing "you" and "I". Never had a problem exceeding 300 miles/tank on 100% highway road trips and I definitely don't drive 50 or less on the interstates.

This was my last tank. 301 miles on 11 gallons=mpg. This included two vtec blasts to 7,500 rpms: getting up to about 80mph.

My commute is about 12 miles (all city) and I typically hit two Vtec blasts per traffic light.

Anyone think that might be part of my problem with getting just over 200 miles per tank?

11.7 gallons! drove home with no bars and gas light on. 27 miles from my office to home in traffic. stayed in the slow lane the whole time in case i ran out of gas haha glad to hit 300 finally! although i usually get 270-280 but average 25 mpg so i guess with the 13.2 gallon tank i should be able to do this every time. oh well here is the pic.

ps. everyone talks about how easy it is with highway driving, yet im doing 70+ on the highway the majority of the time. are the people on the highway doing 55-60???

I can hit 300 no prob on the highway at 70-75.

My best is 310, and added in 10.2 gallons. That's over 30mpg. I'm supercharged and this seems to actually HELP overall mileage if you take it easy, esp on the highway. 6th gear in an S2K at highway speeds with FI is highly responsive and I don't need to downshift.

6th gear on the highway in my speed3 is a different story. It has torque galore, but it's a slug in 6th.

I got 340mi, averaging 70mph driving from NYC to VA, I recently had my AC compressor seize up, so I replace the belt with one that doesn't loop around the compressor. I also have a hardtop.

I've owned my S since May of this year. So far the best tank I've had is 276 miles.
This is mostly city driving but Includes driving in an autox event and also the drive out there. (about an hour total on the highway)
I could probably squeeze 300 if I did more highway and conservative driving, but whats the fun in that?
