That one cylinder ate something, was this ever rebuilt ?

Not that I am aware of. I got it with 110k and now it has 150k. So far I’ve found nothing in the bottom end as a source for the bits in the pan.

Have you taken the top end apart and inspected it for damage?

Someone mentioned spark plug tip, and I agree. A plug was torqued to old spec, came loose, caused knock, which broke tip, which chewed up piston and cyl.

Torque your plugs to 22 lb ft!

Come to think of it, I had a so called reputable builder work on the car and put a couple things in. They changed the plugs and when I later got it dyno’d I discovered one of the plugs was torqued impossibly tight. I’ll bet you’re right and that’s where the damage came from. Not sure on the material in the oil pan but certainly the top end damage is likely from that person’s shop. I swear every time I have a work on my vehicles something goes terribly wrong.
