I just took off my stock wheels/tires to put on a winter set - just for kicks I weighed them both:
Stock (rims/tires mounted and balanced of course) each
F - 40 lbs
R - 47.5 lbs
Set going on (Mille Miglia HT3's w/ Blizzak LM-22's) each
F - 43.5 lbs
R - 50 lbs
The advertised weight of the rims on Tire Rack are:
F - 20.5
R - 23.5
(making the front tire approx 23 lbs and rear approx 26.5)
Now if you can find out the f & r weight of a RE050 tire and subtract that from the rim/tire weight it will give you a rough idea.
hope this helps a little

Wow...total wheel/tire weight is 175-lbs. Mine is 132-lbs (or 107.5-lbs of difference if you subscribe to unsprung weight equal to 2.5x static weight...another thread entirely).
That kind of weight difference in power to weight is around .23 seconds advantage in the 1/4-mile (say, if you placed my combo on the newbie model) for me, or roughly 11hp.
I believe if memory serves me, the stock 00-03 tire/wheel weight total is 165-168-lbs (too lazy to do a search).
I'll be looking out for what these '04 wheels actually weigh. My guess is around 19.5-lbs.

This is great stuff guys, both posts.
Too add to the confusion, I got the wheel weights from the dealership today. (Or should I say, wheel 'weight' - singular)
Two dealerships gave me the exact same figure. I have the Honda part numbers for both the front and rear 2004 wheels (I can post them if you would like) According to both dealerships who called me back after they both called Honda America, both the front and rear 2004 wheels weigh 17.7lbs.
Now, I find this impossible since the front and rear wheels are drasticaly different sizes. The dealership guessed that the wheels may have been forged differently, but admitted he could not explain it.
But so far, and this is from 2 different dealerships both calling Honda with the part numbers, both the front and rear wheels weigh 17.7
Thoughts?
