Brought my S into the dealership, Bankston Honda in Lewisville, for service today and pointed out the faded light. My service rep said that he would follow up to see what could be done. As it happend the Rep from Am Honda was at the dealership and approved the replacement.

Thanks to all for bringing this up.

On the way home yesterday, I had a motorcycle cop behind me while stopped at a red light. After a while, he pulled up next to my driver's window, turned off his bike, and starting asking me about the tail lamps.

To make a long story short, I told him of THIS FORUM POSTING which gave me the heads-up. I already have the ball rolling on the replacements, and he was satisfied with that and sent me on my way.

Good lookin' out people!!!

Good quesiton, it's obviously going to be more obvious in the older MY00 models, I have an 03 so it may take a few years, of course I live in the Seattle area too so I may never see it.
