Oh hell yeah they will, just get your FIX-IT. My car has been out of warranty for over a year. Because you work there, it is going to be a little more difficult however. They can use some leverage on you because they employ you. Go to a different dealer for this, that's my suggestion...

I think I may go raise hell tomorrow about it, see if I can't get something done, if not then I'll try another dealership like you suggested. Thanks. Maybe they will get me the 02 tails with the cute little chrome rim....or....maybe.........04's.... Good luck to everyone else out there sporting the pinky's. I think its pretty cheap looking to have a 30k dollar car and some fading tails.

Oh that makes a lot of sense, get a newer S that is LESS collectible then the ORIGINAL 2000' S2K all for it's nice RED taillamps and small creature comfort improvements. When they stop making the S2K, it's the 2000 that everyone is going to want. The stiffer, lighter, ORIGINAL, no non-sense sports car. Nice shameless boast about your MY04, lol. I'll stick with my 2k, 2k...

Good to hear that a sponsor is the one replacing with no questions asked.

Have you thought of filing a complaint at NHTSA?

I have the tail light problem as well... If a bunch of us filed complaints about this it might get some more recognition.

Honda is well-aware of the problem. We brought it to AHM's attention at Sac2KDays II, and the faulty parts have since been sent to Japan. No word yet on a permanent fix.
