Default MY06 Seat Weight Sensor question

For those of you who installed bucket seats in the 06+ model, I assume you'll have to leave the weight sensor unconnected? Does any warning light come on now?

the weight sensor can be taken off the stock seat. If you don't connect it, the SRS light will stay on.

That works if you continue using the oem seats with lowered rails, but what about aftermarket seats? Anyone put a bucket seat into the passenger side of their 06+ s2000 and still maintain full function of the airbag. I'm not soo much concerned with the weight sensor as I am if the airbag will work or not.

what happens in an accident when the sensor moves outside the general area? You run the risk of deactivating the airbag.

I wonder if anyone can figure out the voltage range of the sensor, and we'll just get resistors from radioshack that matches the voltage...

thats a good point... the guy also suggested using zip ties... I would probably zip tie and duct tape it to my seat/rail.
