Hi Guys,

I just purchased my MY03 with only 10K on the clock.. my warranty is going to be up in about 4-5 months and i just need to know if there's anything that i should really pay attention to that might need fixing before the warranty period is up?

Nope.

 

Several items:
1. Does the ignition stick? As in: does the door chime go off when you open the door but your keys are removed?
2. Check your headlights for blistering (on the black area right under the HID's)
3. Check the center armrest to see if it pops up in the back.

These are three issues my '03 needed taken care of and were fixed/replaced for free under warranty.

 

 

You need to sell the car RIGHT NOW. When the warranty expires the engine throws a rod, the transmission will grind 2nd and 5th, the brakes will only work 50% of the time, and your suspension will blow all at the same time.

How's the condition of your soft top? Any wear that would lead to a hole on the vinyl? if you do, you might want to have them look at that.

 

Hey I get that door chime on occasion, and didn't know what was causing it. My car (unfortunately) is about a month out of warranty... is it a cheap/easy fix?
