MY02 rear window glass on MY00???
will it fit??if so how do u make it work? i'm most likely gonna buy a MY00-01 S2K and just wanted to know cuz i'm not feeling that plastic yellow junk..

Yes, it can be done and has been done. It's quite pricey as the whole top must be replaced. There is a write-up about it on this forum. Try a search to see if you can find it.
Also, the plastic window does not have to be that way. Many of us have the original plastic window and it is still clear and in top condition. I think you just have not found out how to take care of it. Here's one way:

I'm in the process of installing an '03 top right now. I'm taking a break to let my back, neck, and fingers rest. I had zero experience replacing a convertible top and I wish I had kept it that way. Its not that hard of a task, but its been very time consuming. It'll probably take me a total of 10-12 hours of actual labor and I've spent a full day driving around finding the few parts and tools needed. I love doing things myself but this is one job that's probably worth paying someone that knows what their doing.
