You Rock! Thanks for the pic. I always keep the seat back as far as it will go. I wonder if the seat would block any sound that comes out of the speaker.

Jeff,
Did you install Lucid rear panel or cut out openings yourself? What size speakers did you go with? I'm thinking about doing to obtain more bass.

I'm 6'4" and keep the seat all the way back. I get some squeaking due to the seat back rubbing on the plastic panels so I pull the seat back one click more upright. That one click allows a lot of additional sound but it's not like it's totally muffled in any case. Having the speaker firing into your back allows a bit of bass to be felt in your back, kinda like a poor man's subwoofer...

I am still not clear from the above responses...are the rear speaker wires behind the panels or do these need to be added?

Speaker wires must be added. Lucid sell's all the wiring, But I made my own. I used 5 1/4 Blaupunkt speakers and cut the panels myself. I did not use Lucid's harness, because I have access to honda pin terminals. I simply ran 4 speaker wires under the console cover and added factory pins in the exsisting radio connector. Same effect as Lucid's harness, just easier/cheaper for me. The connector is only on 02's and up. It's for the hardtop defroster harness. Plastic window cars have completely different defroster wiring for the hardtop.

Sorry, no pics. I used 14 Gauge automotive stranded wire. The speaker wire can be run directly under the console cover back to the rear panels. I Unless you can convince a Honda dealer to sell you the correct pins, (BIG pain) Don't try it like I did. Lucid's harness really is the easy way to go. You just plug everything in. I used a 2001 Accord ETM to determine the correct pins in the radio connector. You need a very specific wiring pin to properly lock into the connector. I doubt a dealer's parts dept. would be able to find the right one without a major hassle. Your other option is to run 4 speaker wires to the HU itself bypassing the stock connector. Since I have a stock radio, I can't do this.
