I wish my wife would be willing to learn how to drive manual. It would give me more justification in how obsessed I am with my car. She doesn't understand it not having driven it.

LMAAO! Let me tell you a story. i was looking at several cars when I knew I was going to get a pick up (but just don't want to deal with $120usd fillups at the tank), and M3 (probably the more responsible thing to do, or the s2000. Well I went and looked at a few and narrowed down to one M3 and a s2000. So when she got off work (I was off that day), I took her with me to look at both. She drove the m3 and liked it. The s2000 (that one actually got away from me) had race seats. Sitting in to it, she absolutly hated it. (I didn't want the race seats and the car came with factory, so it didn't matter to me), but after a lot of talking I convienced her to take it for a spin. (as I know she'll get that hair up her backside one day and I'll come out and still see her car in the driveway, but not mine) She couldn't get over the seats (which was completely understandable, except she couldn't grasp that the factory seats were going back in the car and the buckets on ebay). So we're driving along and she turns her first corner. Instantly her eyes lit up and the frown turned upside down! "I LOVE HOW THIS CAR TURNS!" was her only comment about the car. Prior to this she really wanted me with the family car or at least the closer to family car M3, but after she said "Get what you want" and is the only reason I now own a s2000. So if she wants to drive mine... I guess I can bend every now and then.

ok check it out. If this is an every now and then type of thing, I could put up with it. But if this is more often than not type of situation she's gonna get a big hell no. As a matter of fact some times you should just say no cause you get tired of riding shotgun with your woman everytime you go somewhere together in the S. I can tell you right now even asking me that question is gonna be a problem and I'm two weeks away from getting mine. I guess it depends on the wife really. If you got a nag of a wife, or if you got some sweet thang you just can't say no to.
I always find it funny when people say,"she let you buy one". Haha are you sh1tt1n me? I'm as grown as I'm ever gonna get. It's not up to her, she don't gotta drive it every day.
