Many of you know that I had some problems ( Chapter 1/ Chapter 2/ Chapter 3 ) with high RPM clutch dumps once I upgraded my clutch to the ACT clutch. Since the rebuild of my car's rear end I have not dropped the clutch at all. I wanted to go to the track, to get some baseline times - still without dropping the clutch. Something that I will be able to reproduce later as I continue to mod the car. I wasn't necessarily looking for my fastest times, because I only wanted to slip the clutch at 3K-5K, instead of dropping it at 8K like I used to do. I just wanted to know, at XK RPM slip I ran X.XX. Once I upgrade my axles and freeze the differential housing, I might start dropping the clutch again.
So, I say all of this to preface my track times from tonight. Remember, these are 3K-5K clutch slips, which really just ends up only being 5-10MPH rolling start when the clutch/wheels grip; so, the times aren't that impressive. Significantly faster times can be had with higher RPM clutch drops...just don't do it with an upgraded clutch (my personal advice). I'm only posting these because I've been asked so many times what my 1/4 mile times are.

The fact of the matter is that I can run the same/better times a stock S2000 runs when he side-stipes the clutch at 8K, with me only slipping the clutch out at 3K-5K. If you run a stock S2000 at a 3K-5K clutch slip out you'll run a 15+.
Yeah, I'm a terrible driver and the supercharger doesn't make a difference at all. You can probably hang right there with me in a race...lemme know if you wanna try it out...maybe put some cash on it?
