Remember you're looking at prices in Australian dollars on my site.

Our dollar is worth about 53c against the greenback.

My mats are also hand tailored to fit the crossbracing on the floor which many passengers insist on riding with their feet on.

Yes ... my 2002 has two pegs and two holes in the floor mat, but it doesn't solve the problem. The peg closest to the transmission is mounted so that it can move about an inch side to side (I guess to allow for variation in mats) and the mat still lifts up in the middle and needs to be adjusted every time you get in the car if you want it to lie flat.

Don't know if the aftermarket mats are better in this regard.

Ok I'm an idiot - I just went into my car and saw that I also have that pad next to the gas pedal. I guess it's just used as a foot rest when you're not on the gas. I'm going to order those Muz mats soon because the carpeting on my cross brace is wearing out (at least the Muz mat covers it up). For anyone that's installed an aftermarket dead pedal, do you just bolt it on using those two bolts where the dead pedal is?

You wrote "easy to make another post and install it"...Would you care to elaborate on this statement?

Muz, I realize the conversion is in flux but the approximation in US dollars on the opening page seems way low by the time I run my order through the converter. Not sure if the approximation is before shipping but that $50 shipping cost always puts your mats (which I adore, btw) out of reach for me. There isn't some *slow boat from China* shipping method available, is there?

The luxury muz mat with the $20 logo option and $20 heel mat option plus shipping puts the mats at $393.99 AUD. This converts to $208.97 USD.

Here's the next question. Get this.. at H & A accessories

http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000.html

The '00 & '01 mats are only $43, but the '02 mats are $101?!?!? The only difference is the extra grommet!!! WTF gives there?

*cough* omg..
