I am trying to get some SS pipe to replace my resonator and need to know the right size. Is the stock exhaust on my 2007 2.25"?

The stock exhaust I believe is 60mm which is about 2.36 inches.

2.5 inches would be a 63mm.

The conversion is that 25.4mm = 1in

since its made in japan it's a metric number (ie 60mm), so you can be sure 2.25" will not be right. i dont know if its 60mm though--you could take a tape measure if you're in a bind.

 

most people are using a 2.50 and that will work just fine.

 

Thanks guys. I ended up finding a shop that stocks SS and could do the work today.
So, just got it done and am very happy I did. I saw a few pics of other S2000s that had this done, and all I can say is mine looks almost stock. Perfect welds! As soon as I find out how to post pics from my new mac, I will.

 

I think a lot of ppl use 2.25. I recommend 2.5 though, since we're both AP2. I did 2.5 and it was awesome.
