Default my set up... after a tune

i have aem v2 cai, hks hi power exhaust, berk test pipe, and rick's 4-2-1 header. i haven't dyno'd after putting rick's header on, it was my last mod that i've done. before that i dyno'd at 207 whp, how much hp should be expected after tuning? any knowledgeable guesses are welcome

Ricks 4-2-1 header isnt going to see much gains up top at all.... (mid range gains will be there though)

The aem v2 will help for sure

You could be loosing power with that exhaust

Sell the exhaust and get a matching 2.5inch single exhaust to match your test pipe (you dont want bottle necks) or a full 70mm set up

Are you going to tune with a vafc???

I would say with a baseline of 207 and if you kept the intake, put on a j's header and t1r 70mm single exhaust and a good tune you could get in the mid 220 range and maybe even break 230 range

Go to jdmtuning section and check "i want 230rwhp n/a (bolt on's)" thread and you can get some good info out of that thread.

Hope it helps.

Ugh, not more of this. Prove it sucks or stop posting comments about an exhaust that you don't own.

He didn't ask for what mods he should get.....
I think you could see maybe 8-10hp from tuning.
Keep the hks! Everyone says it sounds awesome

big deal, it looks like he is looking for power, did I do something wrong in trying to help out with some other products that might help him out? I didn't do anything wrong but help out, don't get so bent out of shape...

And the HKS does sound nice but looses power...

And two post above. It does loose power, my buddy has one and although it looks and sounds amazing, at our last dyno day he lost power with it.

Didn't say you did anything wrong

Just saying, everyone is telling him to ditch his exhaust and telling him what he needs to get for xxx hp. But he didn't ask for that. I may be wrong, but, a better response would be from people who have tuned their cars. Tell him what kind of numbers to expect from tuning.

Get a turbo! ditch the intake, exhaust, and header!

it's all good, I was just trying to help out...

well from my experience, original poster, I would say your car with a good tune you could expect around 215 rwhp (on the same dyno you came in at 207 with) with a nice boost in the mid range...
