Be wise if you try and buy back your own stuff from a thief or Ebay.
A dude in Florida had his seats stolen. His insurance gave him a check for replacement.
A week after settlement, the guy found his stolen seats for sale and purchased them for about 1k less than his settlement check.
When he went to the cops to narc out the thief, the law tried to charge HIM with receipt of stolen property. Since he had accepted the settlement from the insurance company, they now owned the seats. When he purchased them back, he was buying the insurance company's stolen property.
In sunny Florida, any person who traffics in or endeavors to traffic in property that he or she SHOULD HAVE KNOWN was stolen commits this crime which happens to be a 2nd degree felony, punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The value of the property which is at stake here is meaningless.

The S2000 are high grade sports car seats. And they do look sexy in the S2000. I am not surprised that people want the S2000 seats in their vehicles....
I've gotten so many compliments on my S2000 seats in my 2001.

He went by what they can get from their shops/junkyards so:

Window = 200
and labor like 50 bux so 1150-250 (deductible)= 900 dollars
Im assuming i can do the windows for 200 and find the seats and install them myself for 700, which is why i took the check. If you guys know anyone that's willing to ship them for 700 or in the VA,DC,MD region that would sell them let me know as I am looking to get this done asap.
Thanks for the support btw.
