OEM seats come in pieces, so if they decide to get you new ones you'll have to have the dealer assemble/install them.

If they let you buy used and you can get some already built, its a simple as 4 bolts. Altho in the meantime I suggest you PM Kodokan_4 for some locks to keep those new seats safe

It doesn't really keep them safe, just in place. Still, its better to frustrate the thieves than let them have the seats!

Well, if the OP had the locks he would be in one of 2 situations

1) Still have his seats and only fix a window
2) Have slashed seats due to criminal frustration but he would be able to use the car and drive it to the shop to be fixed.

Only reason I bring up #2 is because that is the #1 response to the "get seat locks" quote on s2ki from the anti-seat lock group.

I can't figure out whether he still has seats or not. First he says the seats were stolen, then he talks about having them recovered, then he talks about stolen/damaged seats. Which is it???????

Read a little closer. The seats are gone.

Covered as in insurance covering his loss. Not covered as in put new leather over the foam. Damaged/stolen as in damaged window and stolen seats.

These seat thefts are getting out of hand!
What's so special about these seats?

dunno if they're still available, but it used to be if you bought seat locks from kodokan you could buy a window sticker from another guy that let people you know had seat locks (they say "protected by mcgard" or something).
