My S2k is my daily driver.......opinions on this.

Currently have 60k miles daily-driven (~500 miles per week). Wish I had a beater especially as the car is getting mugenized. But then again, any other car would be boring. Hence, it will stay daily-driven even though I want to cut back on the mileage.

mine's pretty much my daily driver. it goes into the office with me every time but that's only .25 miles away in inclement weather (rain) of if i am traveling into phoenix i take the ML500 (don't like parking the S downtown, way too ghetto). even when i only had one vehicle i never managed more than 8K miles a year since living in arizona. that 1/4 mile office commute helps immensely with that

I drive mine everyday and I couldn`t imagine driving something else...This is the only car I have owned that I get in and it puts a smile on my face everyday...I do wish I had another car for snow but I don`t regret buying my S at all.....

Like everybody else here I love my s2k. That being said, I couldn't use it for a daily driver. I'm in it pretty much all Spring / Summer / Fall but Winter in CT (as well as house projects) demand my 4WD GMC Pickup!

The only issue with using the S as a daily driver would be like some of the situations mentioned regarding work requirements, parking etc.
The other thing to consider is the traffic of your commute. If it's 30 miles each way in little to moderate traffic then your good. If it's 30 miles in "stop and go"......forget it... Too frustrating as a daily driver.
I was going to buy a Motorcycle as my DD when my wife made the point of why buy a nice car and not drive it? She told me instead of spending money on the motorcycle, why not just spend it on my car and make it the way I want.....
THAT'S ALL SHE HAD TO SAY!!!!!!
