Yup, loose the tape! Mine looks sweet without it. Here is a pic:

Search on "tape removal" for directions.
You should also order up some Zaino Bros. Polish as seen in my photo. If they won't send it to you, let me know and I'll do it.

DUDE, don't wait. Get on your bike and get over to Portugal and see one now.

This is SO NICE! I have wanted one since I took delivery. . .

I know I could get one from Japan for $3,000. I was actually contemplating the expense, but was not sure how it would really look and fit. . .but now I see that it's worth it!

Can't wait till we have them here in the States! :0

BLUE S2000,
The top looks great and I love that color. I was on holiday in Switzerland in September and visited with a S2K owner in Interlaken. I speak very little German and he spoke less English. I wanted to know what the black objects are below the headlamps. I also noticed some red in the center of the rear apron.

I have a black S2K with the black hardtop. The hardtop can be a bear if you have just yourself putting it on. The out-side noise
was reduce by 50%, but the engine and clutch noise are about the same. The rear window view is a-lot better, but since this was a grey market HT the rear window defogger doesn't work yet, missing a few parts.
I think the workmanship is very good and I like the look with it on, but I think most people in Portland think it is a Mazda.

I WISH I had that BLUE S....
uhhhmmmm, I could be wrong but I think I remember Blue answering this Q before so I'll take a stab at it, ok? I believe the black things in front ar eheadlight washers, though I think it would look even CLEANER w/ the benz style ones that disappear into the body molding...as for the red thing on the back I think that's a fog light....I saw a pic of an ITR in scotland tha had one that resembled it b4....

BTW, BLUE,
LUV the car...the pics....the top...the color....NUFF SAID you DEVIL...

ciao,
Bpearl
