The windshield frame appears black on a stock S2000. This is because of tape which was put on at the factory over the frame which is body colour underneath.

If you remove the tape your windscreen frame will match the colour of your vehicle and hardtop.

There are quite a feww threads describing the process.

By the way , what are you meaning by saying to remove the windshield tape???

BlueS2000, the frame that surrounds your windshield is black. If you look closely at that black frame, you'll see that it's not painted black, it's actually covered by tape. A numbers of owners here in the US have removed the windshield tape. If you remove it, the paint underneath should be blue like the rest of the car. With that hard top, I think removing the windshield tape would make it look even better.

Very nice pics. Your car looks great with the hardtop on. Makes the car look more complete compared to the regular soft top. I also like your Euro license plates. They suit the car much better than the U.S. ones. (I really prefer the U.K. ones, with the reflective yellow background on the rear, and white reflective on the front.)

Thanks for sharing the pics. Nice job!

Those are by far the best pictures of the hardtop I've seen. It looks quite graceful and complements the car beautifully.

Now I'm tempted to get one.

I don't like you, BlueS2000. I mean I REALLY don't like you.

You're so mean to me.
