I guess I win here in the Netherlands (Except for the Danish I believe):

A new S2000: equvilent of $ 79.000
A gallon of gas: $ 9.3

But hey, small price to pay for 9K

Money is irrelevant! With the exchange rate floating like it is - it doesn't make sense any more... so what if 40K EUR was 35K US$ just 2-3 years ago, for us the price didn't change at all, you see 40K EUR was 40K EUR 5 years ago, and today it's still 40K Eur.
Let's price our S2k-s in Big Macs, that should give a point of reference

PS, EU MY06 are AP113

Because we have an international community here, it is probably better to identify the chassis by MY, since there were changes every two years. I believe my car is actually an AP1 100 with an F20C1, but I know that doesn't mean what we normally mean when we say "AP1," because some AP1's have 17" wheels and all the other things that make an NADM AP2 an AP2.

I can keep up with what's what here in the USA, but there is no easy way to keep up with all the variations of the car as sold in other markets. At this point I know the F22C is being sold in other markets (other than NADM), but I'm not sure which ones.
2.2L AP2 seems to be the standard now for JDM and USDM.

in singapore we get both variants of the s2000 (but im sure this can be the case for most RHD countries with a thriving parallel import market):

f20c in AP2 body from the official honda distributor (similar to UK (or Oz?) spec cars)
f22c in AP2 body from the grey importers (JDM)

and the JDM AP2s that are being delivered now, i.e. my'08 cars, can be bought in type S (similar to the USDM CR) or regular versions.

regards,
inf1d3l

And that would come as no surprice, since sales of the S2000 is almost 0 here in Europe... as far as I can see none were sold here in Holland this year, and over the last couple of years there were about 20/25 sold each year.
I live in Germany and when I got mine at the dealer (begining of january) there were 5 more MY08 AP1 waiting for their new owner.

That would mean that 1 dealer in 1 day in Germany sells 1/4 of all the S2000 sold in Holland in one year

But yeah.. I agree that S2000 is a rare car in Europe.

We currently use New Turkish Lira (YTL) I converted it in US to make comparison easier

But honda Turkey updates S2000 prices monthly if there is a significant change in yen currentcy
