I stand corrected, they do still have the 2.0.

RED, his picture here shows the VIN has AP1 in it.

I never knew that--2008 AP1!
Yea, and this isn't the first time we've seen this. AP1/AP2 doesn't actually specify chassis differences. It seems to specify the driveline instead, and any car with the early driveline (engine/trans/diff) is specified as an AP1. I'm speculating here, but based on what I've seen the designation only changes if the car has the F22C along with what we normally think of as an AP2 driveline (different clutch, gearing, synchros, etc.).

LOL, plenty of people have claimed to have it all sorted out, but I'm not one of them.

I don't think they ever changed the chassis code overseas. So if it has a 9K motor, it is an AP1.
Thank you. A voice of reason out of the darkness.

Because we have an international community here, it is probably better to identify the chassis by MY, since there were changes every two years. I believe my car is actually an AP1 100 with an F20C1, but I know that doesn't mean what we normally mean when we say "AP1," because some AP1's have 17" wheels and all the other things that make an NADM AP2 an AP2.

I can keep up with what's what here in the USA, but there is no easy way to keep up with all the variations of the car as sold in other markets. At this point I know the F22C is being sold in other markets (other than NADM), but I'm not sure which ones.

Ask him what he has to pay for the equivalent of a gallon of gasoline.
