My S was hit by an SUV tonight
I was at home and my car was parked in front of my house. I heard a crash and said to myself, "Do not let someone have hit my 'S'!" Then I heard a knock on the door. A guy was standing there and said, "I'm so sorry, but I just hit your car." I ran outside to find my car on my neighbor's front lawn. Most of the damage is to the rear quarter panel, driver's side, and the rear wheel and axle. I won't know much more until the body shop takes a look in the AM. It only had 7000 miles on it and I bought it this past July. It was perfect. The guy is taking complete responsibility and all that. I filed a police report. Will take some pics tomorrow and try to post them. in Virginia...

Ack, sorry to hear. I feel your pain.
Somebody last week backed into my S2000. Unfortunately for me, I didn't hear it and they weren't decent enough to leave a note. Damage was pretty much centered to the driver side door =/
Gl with the repairs

Even parking the car in your driveway can be chancy sometimes. I remember a New Year's Eve several years ago a new pickup truck ended up in my neighbor's yard after the driver missed a corner. He managed to roll the truck but luckily the damage was only to the truck and the lawn. He did spend the night in jail (DWI).
Then there was the drunk that rear-ended a new BMW that was on a trailer parked at the curb of the house next door. He managed to jam the engine compartment completely under the rear end of the Beemer. That was really sad.
