Always, always, always call the police and wait for them to arrive at the scene. If the other driver leaves the scene get his tag number if possible.

This is why I try to go as fast as I can in the streets. You slow down and obey the law, BAM! that's when you get screwed by the stupid drivers of the world.

Let me get this straight. You were in an accident that was somebody else's fault, but you didn't bother to:
1. call the cops
2. talk to witnesses
3. get anything in writing from the other driver saying he was at fault

JW why you completely ignored everything you're supposed to do when you get into a car accident? Good luck getting a nickel out of the other guy. His word against yours + no witnesses + no accident report = you get screwed.

To the OP:
Accidents only show up on vehicle history report. It has nothing to do with the title unless the car was totaled or rebulit or savaged.
