Default My S is crashed -Pics-

Theres was two lanes on my direction, i was on the left lane and he was on the right. He was trying to make a right turn into a avenue but then he found out the road is closed, so he quickly turned left and try to enter the other side of the avenue without looking behind him. I was like half a car length behind him, and going at 25mph. By the time i slammed on the brake, his left door is already in front of me, i couldnt stop in time, so i ran into his rear fender and bumper. But my bumper, hood, light, fender is damaged, hopefully my chassis is not bended.... and luckily no body is injured..

This is his fault right??

affect like he can claim you hit him instead of him hitting you? YES

You should report it anyways, not a very good move that you just did..my friend

if you didn't get a report, you didn't get any witness, there's hardly any proof.

uhmm hello? are you kidding me this is totally your fault you were ripping 80mph while he tried to change lanes i witnessed it.

jk it was his fault ^^ 100% won case closed. say bye bye s2000's clean title. In the future if you were to sell your s2k its going to be in value or buyers interest so i recommend that you keep those pics it would help alot for future buyers to understand it was nothing major.************

You just greatly reduced your chances of getting compensation from him. I would definantly report the accident, but it will be difficult to prove who is at fault. Without an accident report or witness testimony all the evidence you have is hearsay. He can easily claim that it was you who hit him since the damage was done to his quarter panel and bumper and the front of your car. Believe me, this happened to someone i know.

i always have the other individual sign something that says they take full responsibility for the accident, if i dont get a report or witness testimony. ive seen stuff like this time and time again and unless the other person takes responsibility now, you are going to have a lot of arguing with insurance companies.

He isnt going to get a reconstructed title from a "minor" accident like that.
Reconstructed titles are issued when a car is declared totaled by insurance and then repaired back to drivability.

To the OP.

It is definitely his fault for making a left turn from the right lane on a 2-way street.
You said you didnt talk to all the witnesses. Did you at least talk to SOME? I hope you got their contact information just in case he tries to screw you over. Not always a given, often people will be very forthcoming when they are at fault. The downside is, people will often change their tune after they have "escaped" from the scene where they were once so agreeable and know you dont have proof.
