I went to 3 different insurance places today, and the quotes where around 300-430 per a month ... seriously wtf... and I asked them about just paying liability and the price was around 100, sucks because I really want the 2004 s2k, but if I get that one, I need to do payments and that means dealer wants full coverage, If i get a 00 off some guy in S.a, I can get liability, but I really want the ap2. I am going to try Geico and any other insurance quotes i can get online

Based on what? Gut feeling?
Yes a gut feeling that , me paying 60-70% of the car cash, shouldn't make my monthly payments to expensive

how much you owe on the car(pay off) plays no role on the insurance. biggest part of it is going to be based on the zip code you insure it at. I have my coverages at 100K/300K/50K (lease coverages)with a 500 deductable. I have at several times had 2nd cars on the policy and it made no sence to lower my limits(it was very little savings) when I turned in the lease at the end of term.

Geico quoted me 213 and esurance quoted me 219, not sure how accurate these quotes are , I would prefer going into a store or calling them, so im going to try to get on the phone with a agent and see how accurate that price really is. Hopefully they aren't trolling me, because I really want an ap2 and dont want to have to Settle for an ap1 because of price.

04 S2000. I'm 20, first car and insurance under my name, one ticket. I tried getting quotes from Geico and Statefarm and they quoted me anywhere from 300-400/month I quoted twice on USAA and the first time it gave me $323/month, but the second time I got $202/month. One guy that I work with is paying 300-400/month for a Pontiac G6.

30, 3rd car, homeowners, married, no tickets. 50 month. I couldn't imagine paying as much as some of these guys, seems like a poor financial choice at that age. But then again, it would have pretty bad ass to have a car this cool when I was 20 instead of the pos I was driving around.

28 yr old from AZ. picked up an 2006 AP2 and was quoted same price for 2009. $77 month $500 deductible full coverage with semi decent record. only 2 weeks with the s and got a rock chip/crack in the front windshield, FAWWWWWk. I hate AZ roads sometimes. not claiming because i know more rocks will probably be coming my way in the future. Progressive Insurance.

Try Nationwide, I'm 19 in the Air Force and I'm married so that might help me but I'm only paying $143 a month for full coverage in Texas.
