My mom said the same thing to me one time. Of course, she also said my T1R shift knob "Looks just like the one you had in there before." My gf, however, knows better than to compare my car to a Miata. IMO Miatas and S2ks don't look at all alike. You don't need a gf, she's just distracting you from spending time with your car

Just say, "yep, you are right." "At a distance there are certainly similarities." Also, way to insult the other guy. There is nothing wrong with a Miata. They are nice little sports cars. Anyone who doesn't think so has obviously never driven one.
Now with that said, did the Miata have a rainbow sticker on it?

lol come on now, the GF can come in handy sometimes, especially when you got friends that wont stop bugging you for rides in the car. all you gotta say is, my gf is with me...sorry lol

From some angles, the newer Miatas look a lot like S2000s, only a bit smaller. Mazda definitely incorporated some of the S2000 styling into their latest generation MX-5.

if you think miata is a girl car, you couldn't be more wrong, you will not go to to a track day, autocross, hpde without seeing at least one or two of those track sluts.
sure it will not revs to 9 or 8.2k but the for the price, it's a sportcar in bargain price, give a good autocrosser a stock na and it will hand alot of faster car even with mods.
