My girlfriend said my car looks like a miata
i was sitting in my girlfriends driveway waiting for her to come out, as she did, a friend of hers walked by with her boyfriend. it just so happened that the friends boyfriend was driving a 99' miata and had parked a few houses down. my girlfriend procedes to tell me that the silver miata looks just like my 01 spa 
. (side note: i have nothing against miatas nor their owners but this kinda hurt me 
). i told her thats like telling someone their bulldog looks like a poodle and as far as astetics their are little to no similarities in my eyes. she disagreed so i told her i was going to post on the forum and show her peoples responses. so have at her.

It's pretty obvious that you're just going to have to move on in life, there's plenty of fish in the see. Some of them even know a real sports car when they see one. J/K

I remeber when I had my 00' and removed all H badging...I had a girl approach me and said...so, how does it feel to have her' revved up to 9,000?? I wanted to marry her....

i was driving opposite traffic of a miata and he waved to me....i didn't know what to say or do....nvm...i just started busting out laughing cuz my gurl was asking "why was he waving at you?" he must of thought i was driving one of their kinds lol

Your gf is clearly not a sports car enthusiast. The S2k and Miata DO share some styling cues that lead the uneducated to feel they look alike. But the same can be said of the s2k and the Jaguar XK.
