There is a lot of information on these boards. Try looking around and doing some searches.
Start with the Under the Hood section for repair and maintenance issues.

There is a lot of information out there. If I may give .02, in the capacity of a new owner of a pristine 31k miles ap1 s2k.This is pretty much what I did.
- The first thing I did was change all my fluids. I used AMS oils for the diff, transmission and engine. There was a remarkable difference. My diff oil was BLACK!
- Make sure you have the Honda OEM oil filter fitted. The AMS oil website will tell you the best oils for every part of your powertrain
- Change your cabin air filter. Most owners rarely change this.
- Check your air intake filter and clean it, if necessary.
- If you own a soft top
1) Clean it with a Raggtop vinyl cleaner and a horsehair brush
2) Apply Raggtop/303 protector to maintain the top
3) Buy a ballistic nylon material and an E6000 adhesive. Apply a big patch of that at the 90 deg link of the top assembly. That area is prone to wear off. Apply internal patches everywhere your see a tear. Product links here:

- Buy the locks for your seat. There's a lot of theft cases in the US, not sure about the UK. They are made by this amazing member in our community. He goes by Kodokan_4. Thank him!
And remember, “Please take good care of your S2000, keep it by your side for long and enjoy it from the bottom of your heart. And share the quality and legacy of the S2000 with many friends so that the legend of the S2000 will continue for long” – Shigeru Uehara
