Default My first day with S2000

Got my yellow 2003 S2000 today. My impressions so far: fantastic handling, great motor, real pleasure to drive. Cons: stereo sucks. Getting in and out is an actobatic excerise, but I'm more used to large trucks.

Too bad I have a week or so have fun with it - until my wife comes back from a business trip - it is actually a Christmas present for her ;-)

I guess Honda owes me a cookie or something for customer loyalty - 3 motorcycles (CB750, ST1100 (used it as a daily commuter for a few years), CBR1100XX (wife's toy)), 1 Jetski (F12 Turbo), 3 cars (Civic few years back, Element and S2000 now). So far every Honda I owned has been absolutely flawless.

Nice!

She'll love that as a present.

Yeah, Honda owes me too. I've had plenty of their cars during my life:

1990 Honda Civic LX
1992 Acura Integra RS
2000 Acura Integra Type R
1998 Acura Integra LS
1996 Honda Civic CX
1989 Honda CRX Si
2001 Honda S2K
2003 Honda S2K

Congrats on the car. I think you'll find lots of loyal Honda fans here. I'll go ahead and add the list of Honda's my wife and I have owned over ther years also:

2004 CR-V EX (Wife's)
2002 S2000
2001 S2000
1995 Prelude SE
1994 Del Sol
1989 Civic DX
1987 Civic Si
1982 Civic 1500 GL
1979 Accord

1986 VF700C Magna
1985 CB650SC Nighthawk
1984 V45 Saber
1983 V45 Magna
1980 CX500 Custom

and finally, I've got a Honda Harmony lawnmower.

That's 15 different Honda branded products we've owned so far. I guess owning vehicles that have been nearly trouble free for probably a half a million miles is it's own reward.

(I should suggest this to HONDA)
