It covers superchargers and turbo chargers as long as its FACTORY equipment. You didn't read it right. If you add these things to a car that didn't come with it, you blew the warranty.
A good rule of thumb is that if it cancels out the factory warranty, it'll cancel an extended warranty.

Here is a link to some good information regarding warranties and your rights off the Sema site!

Ok, I just got back. Apparently, the contract reads as follows:
I will get the full amount minus the $50 only if I let the warranty run to the end and have no claims. If I cancel, then the mileage is pro-rated and a deduction is made. However, it also states that I am not allowed to cancel the policy unless it was sold under false pretenses or it was misrepresented. Also, it states that if the car is a total loss, then the dealer is obligated to cancel my policy.
So, in the language of the contract, I can only get all the money back if I keep the policy for the full 5 years or 72K miles. However, since my car was totaled, the dealer was obligated to cancel my policy and I wouldn't have been able to carry out the plan regardless. So basically it's a loss on my part no matter what unless I kept the car the full 5 years or 72k miles. What a crock of sh!t.
To be fair, I have to say the finance guy agreed and made a good faith effort on his part to contact the warranty company and plea my case that I could not have been able to use the warrany anyway. They still denied him and stuck to the reduction.

This is why you never buy this garbage without reading everything twice, especially not from the finance guy. He's the last leg of the customer experience at the dealership when it comes to sales.
