My Car In Sport Compact Car?...
I usually hate 'tease' threads posted about what someone is going to do with their car, not what they've done with it...but this seems appropriate.
After being at (in) Import Revolution all day long we hit the normal car joint to hang out, etc. I was approached by a guy asking if "that" was my car. I hesitated, almost gave him a line about it actually being my friends, but then said, "Yeah." "Do you want your car to be in Sport Compact Car?", he asked. "Why wouldn't I?" I asked with a shrug.
He introduced me to another gentleman he was with, and we traded business cards. The guy explained that they're getting a group of cars together that they will come back down to shoot in a month or so. He will be in contact with me, supposed to let me know when the date is. My current understanding is that one of the SCC guys that was there knows a friend of mine and that's how the whole contact started...good to have friends.

Wes,
Just be careful how much info you give. I had a car featured in SCC 3 years ago. 2 weeks after the issue hit the stands, the car was stolen, stripped and dumped. Now, you're not in SoCal and the S2K isn't exactly a high theft target, but still....
Just don't let them use your name or the city/area you live in. Good magazine articles look like shopping lists to thieves.
