Default My bro is stuck please help!

im talkin to my brother on the phone right now he was comin back from the highway. The car was in fifth gear and he down shifted to third and floored. The car wouldn't shift into 6th gear and it wouldn't go into gear at all he pulled over onto the side of the road. the car wouldn't go into gear but now it is going into gear but it doesn"t drive. Anyone knows what he did wrong here?

How fast was he going in 5th when he went into 3rd?

By saying doesn't drive, do you mean the engine is not running?

alright the Brother is here. its me..Dee...my brother made this post out cuz i was stuck on the highway. i have oil, everything is fine, im gettin the car towed now, yes, the engine is running just wont go when put into 1st. im pretty sure i blew the clutch so im gettin it towed to the house right now...ill let u all know what i did when come back and whats gonna happen. thanks

your clutch is toast. i would stiick with the oem clutch/pressue plate(actually try to get the 2003 clutch system). it offers the best feel and reliability.

I hope I'm wrong but it may be more than just a clutch.

Man, sorry to hear about your troubles it does sound like a diff or tranny problem for sure.

Has nothing to do with Clutch or oil. He has forked the gear box between gears. More then likely they will have to pull the jammed gear out and replace it. Offten tiimes they can get it out of gear and the tranny will work fine but eventually you will have to get the gears replaced.
