Glad you're ok man! Now everyone is going to think that people from Oregon are scammers . I feel like I have to move to a different state now.

why? Wasn't the seller's fault the car caught on fire.
OP said he drove around for a bit while the car leaked fuel.

OMG, what a horrible story.

Glad oyu are Ok and hope insurance and dealer do the right thing by you.
Don't expect airfare, hotel. that's dreamimg.

It can only be the OP's responsibility (sadly). Buyer beware. If he had full coverage it will be covered but its unlikely he will get what he paid for it. How did he pay?

when i say i continued driving, i'm talking about maybe 1-2 mins. enough time to smell fuel, think about what might be the cause, roll the window down, realize there was a problem and pull over.

edit: just reread my OP and yeah, i made it sound like was driving for a while before i pulled over. not the case.

wow man so sorry for you lost, sad thing that it was with what is consider a "reliable" turbo kit. i drove from FL to SC > NC ( tail of the dragon ) back to FL with turbo car and zero problems =/

Does your insurance cover engine failures when it is modified? Unfortunately insurance may consider it as an argument to refuse payment.
