Default MY 2000-2005 seats?

Has anyone notice the older style seats with the oval in the headrest seem to be the most stolen S2000 seats than the ones with speakers in the headrest? Or am I completely wrong?

i'd say the correlation is between the cost of the older cars versus the higher cost of the newer ones. being that the higher costing cars would be in better neighborhoods i'd assume their theft rates would be less...

Likely due to the fact that the older model years have been around for longer and thus have been exposed to theives for a longer period of time then lets say the newer model year seats.

I think it's just that there's more of them out there.

Btw, there are not "headrest speakers" in the 06-08, they are in the roll hoops. There are accessory headrest speakers for 00-05's though.
