nice. thanks for the info/chart. i guess with variance in tire expansion, and or lazy speedos/rev limiters, maybe thats where some of us are picking up MPH. from what i understood, my 04 is same as rsx type s in that the limiter is at 8250. but hey, i didnt program the ecu. so we may never know. bottom line, ive had it at 161, and it was about 300 rpm off of the limiter. oh well. nothing is ever the same ay. lates dave

wow, this is a ridiculous thread... First thing that came to mind was "my car topped out at 140, i need NOS" too. Ricer stuff. I mean come on..why are you worried about being able to go more than 155? worried enough to give up the acceleration you have at lower speeds, because you'd have to reduce the final drive below 4.10? absurd.

Just a little something for you guys who think its fun to see how fast you can go on public roads. At 150mph your radar detectors wouldn't warn you fast enough to slow before getting clocked. Also at that speed a clear road can very suddenly have traffic as you catch up to people who were previously out of sight.

Not judging or trying to be preachy, just asking you to think before you do this stuff.
