I went through the same sh**, but we figutred out that if you put it up on ramps that helps. The other thing we did was to just get each boldt started and not tighten them much at all until all 4 were in. Once you get past the BS you like it. Good Luck!!

Thanks for all the encouraging words, guys. I'm so excited to try it out, but that makes it more frustrating when things aren't working. I'm going to try it again at lunch today...this time with four jack stands. Wish me luck!

heh, thanks, rusty! yup - it's still a bit early over here, but I'm getting mentally prepared to do it in about an hour! I'll give you guys an update after I give it a go and, hopefully, a driving impression once it's on.

So I put it up on four jackstands at lunch and still no luck - the holes are still off just as much as they were when the car was only on two jack stands. I'm so frustrated. I'm going to take my car in to the shop this friday and hopefully they can get it to fit. Argh.

Did you loosen the 3 bolts and try lining it up before tightening all of the bolts?

I also remeber that it took 2 of us to get it on. We really had to put everything we had to get it into position. Good luck.
