Mugen SS Rear Wing

Your car looks absolutely sick. (in a good way)
Good job on all of the mods so far.
In the last picture (of the rear of your car), due to the shadowing, I can't tell what kind of bumper you have. Is it an aftermarket one or is it just because of the shinyness of your car along with the shadowing that makes me think so?
Oh yeah, one more thing, if my memory serves me correctly, aren't you the one who bought his S from the dealer with the Comptech SC?

It's aftermarket - it's the cavalleresco kit with some small tweaks... the rear is a skirt that attaches to the factory bumper using OEM mounting points.
Yeah, I'm the one who was supposed to have it supercharged before picking it up. I got antsy, car arrived on a Thursday night, I grabbed it Friday AM, drove it for the weekend stock and took it back on Monday to have the parts installed. After 3 months of waiting, I figured a weekend with the car in NA form wouldn't hurt

Actually there are several decent copies of the Mugen available but please don't ask me for links. Let's just say I've come across a few in my searches for available wings. The quality won't be nearly as nice of course but from five feet away, the ones I saw ($600-ish) were dead ringers, carbon fiber as well. There is a wing out there that I wish came with smaller pedestals called the JSP Blade. Here is a pic. $650 I believe. I actually like this one but it's no Mugen for sure. I'd paint the ends suzuka and leave the weave alone.

Can anyone with a wing tell me if they change the wind buffeting in the cabin with the top down. Like is it worse, better, or no change? I was thinking maybe some of them would tend to smooth out the wind flow. I like the Mugen and the JSP. Thanks.

SS Wing is built to work with the Mugen Hardtop, by itself it provides minimal down force. The Mugen 3pc Wing on the other hand is designed to work with the top down and is only slightly improved with the Mugen Hardtop.
This was all information gathered when a bunch of U.S. S2000 owners travelled to Japan a couple years ago and visited Mugen Headquarters. The trip was arranged through King Motorsports. There are previousl theads with this information that I just don't feel like looking up so have fun.
