Mugen/Spoon = no no?

I think the guy is out of his mind, I have seen several spoon prepped cars running a mugen hardtop and front bumper. I plan on having the mugen S.S. front and hard top with my spoon calipers and wannabe SW388's once I can afford it. I hope I can get a personalized plate that says Sfork since it isn't quite spoon not quite mugen its a combo.

Maybe hes just a pureist(sp). Since Spoon and Mugen make enough parts that you can completely deck the car out with just one brand, maybe he thinks you should only stick to one.
They're both awesome, so mix-n-match FTW

I think it's ok to mix. They do not do the same things.
Mugen is more of a purist's OEM performance and Spoon is in my eyes just Mugen with one step above in crazyness. I almost feel like Mugen is sometimes binded by the fact that they have to keep things fairly conservative and Spoon is what happens if Mugen were let loose to do whatever they wanted.
Example, Mugen's radiator cap is 1.3 kg where Spoon said, "oh yeah" and theirs is 1.35 kg
