Does the Mugen hardtop (fiberglass or carbon) come with the tinted rear window. On every photo I've seen except one, it has a tinted rear window. I've seen a photo of the Opera S2000 in which the rear glass is clear.

Can the tint be removed? Can you order the hardtop without the tint? Any Mugen HT owners know about this?

Really? It seems like every person tints the rear glass. And they all seem about the same shade of darkness. Oh well, I prefer non-tinted. Thanks for the info.

i accually saw one and it seems to be that the glass is a bit darker than normal
so i guess it is , but just a bit

It's tinted...final answer. It's been tinted since the first one came to US shore...it's tinted to this day.

I'm giving no one a reason to why it's tinted...it just is.

Why is the Aztec so ugly?....no reason needed, it just is.

If the tint is a hurdle to your purchasing decision, you can either not buy the top, or get someone to fabricate a non-tinted plastic to fit in the original's place.
